Had Mila check us in for our stay at Marriott Docklands and I would like to thank her and the entire front desk staff for making our first stay for our daughters 7th birthday the most memorable moment ever! Not only we received a room upgrade but they also gave us an early check in and birthday cake for my girl we did not request this and Mila definitely went the extra mile to provide the best stay in Melbourne we will come back again for sure when the weather is nice to enjoy the infinity pool
Fantastic large rooms in a clean, modern hotel. Every staff member I encountered were friendly and helpful. The pool area is amazing. Great value for money compared to other similar hotels in the cbd area. Docklands is a little further out depending on what you want to do but just a short tram ride into the cbd, and the docklands has its own fun attractions as well.
For a brand that carries the Marriott name, the Docklands property in Melbourne is a profound disappointment that begins the moment you arrive. Check-in set the tone immediately.
