I wish I read their policy and FAQ before committing to an expensive purchase. For precious purchases meant to last forever, it’s better to go somewhere else that will stand by their craftsmanship and look after your jewellery for years to come. This place will not repair, resize, or replace after some time has passed —one year later they will not even do a little repair, a teeny resize, or replacement on a very expensive diamond ring bought in store here in the Toronto location.
After searching extensively for a jewellery store to have my husband purchase me a pair of earrings for our anniversary I decided to try Melanie Auld Jewelry for the positive reviews, beautiful pieces and fair prices. Had both earlobes pierced on April 2024. My left earlobe isn’t healing up. I’ve reached out multiple times to their email and customer service online after 4 months of getting them done because I had problems of one side not healing well and just once received an answer saying that their piercer was in vacation and redirected me to another pierce store to get it checked out. My friends and I got permanent bracelets a couple years back and it was such a fun experience! I've been in the store a few times since then and the staff have always been super friendly and helpful. I recently had to get my bracelet rewelded as one of the links broke (cost was $10+tax) and was lucky enough to walk in and get it done without an appointment.
