AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. I cannot begin to explain how rude and unprofessional the owners are. Admittedly this was my second time going there. I love coming to Melania Hair Design. The stylists know about hair: how to wash, condition, relaxer, roller set, cut/trim & blow dry is so AMAZING that you don't need flat iron. I always prefer to have Indhira do my hair because from day one (about 3 years ago) she knew how I like my hair done! I used to work across the street from the salon and now that I switch jobs I still go out of my way to come to this place to get my hair done. Horrible experience. Very careless service, grungie atmosphere, terrible stylists that do not understand a thing about esthetics...and still overpriced....My fault for going somewhere I don't know. I payed $130 for a relaxer at a run down salon, my hair looks horrible and is over processed. Major regret.
if you want your hair straighter than a horses tame....look no further...Diyani! that is who u need to ask for...the girl is a pro!!!! everyone else...as soon as you walk in anyone one available will wash your hair and set u in rollers but not everyone is a pleasant shampooer...is that a word...then the expert comes in when u are dry and works her majic....no need for flat irons. the other ladies can blow dry your hair with no need to flat iron...but again want it done to perfection Diyani.
