We took our kids there on the recommendation of others and enjoy Dr. Caldwell a great deal. The wait times can be long which is not great, but it's worth having a reasonable doctor that is not prescribing medicine at every event except when necessary.
So grateful for Dr. Caldwell and her common sense approach to patient care. Very gifted, and thorough!
Great. I started taking my son to her after another doctor was not listening to me about my concerns. I went to Dr. Caldwell she listened to me and gave me some advice on what I need to do with my son and his health is so much better. With it being a small practice the wait time can be bit long but I know she has my son's best interest in heart. I really don't know another pediatrician around the RVA area like her.
Tells parents that its their choice to get their kids vaccinated or not. She recommends against vaccines or to at least spread it out more. Both go completely against all of the best guidelines. If she is that ignorant about common science then i wouldn't trust her with any other issue.
HORRIBLE about answering the office phone!!!!
My sons were new patients, I drove almost 1.5 hrs 1 way for school/sports physicals due to the great reviews. I arrived at 1:55 & waited patiently until 4, b4 being seen by Dr. Caldwell. While examining my sons she asked about school, grades, behavior, & personal things. Midway through, she left for 25 mins & returned w/ no apology/explanation. I asked if she could complete the forms & calmly told her that I'd been waiting for over 2 hrs, hadn't eaten, & had to leave for my kids'open house which would be a 1.5 hr drive plus ... read more
I usually love this office and the staff. Yesturday I waited 2 hrs to be seen for a sick appt.arrived 20 minutes before .when we were seen felt rushed .Dr Caldwell was who we seen.iwas very dissapointed
I really like Dr. Caldwell but rated only a 4 due to ridiculous wait times in the office. Scheduling is not very since either. I visit the prince george office so she's only there a couple days a week. The last sick visit I waited over an hour and was seen by a different provider, which I wasn't too happy about but went ahead anyways since I was there for so long. I have baby well visit coming up afn scheduled for the morning, so we'll see if the wait time is different. Love the Dr tho!
I take both of my daughters there, and they love it. The care and attention to detail is very evident. It is always great to visit for their check ups. I highly recommend!
