I reached out to this practice seeking therapy. I received a phone call from an individual whose name I can’t recall at this time, asking me to send a copy of my insurance card. I sent the insurance card and then received no further response. I wouldn’t recommend them. Any practice that reaches out to you, gives assurances that they’re going to assist you and work with you, only to then ghost you, is demonstrating very poor and unprofessional conduct.

I can't recommend Melanated Healing and Amber highly enough. Amber is kind, empathetic but also pushes growth. She helped me to continue to move forward and understand myself better. Melanated Healing is a gem of a practice. I've been fortunate enough to be working with Amber over the last few months, and my progress and sense of calibration have been palpable. One of the beauties of this practice is the physical space--warm, truly therapuetic, comforting and cozy. Amber is warm, personable, and compassionate. I have found that everything from communication to booking has been streamlined and organized. This practice comes highly recommended by me.

Melanated Healing is the best. My therapist Shekiah has really helped me grow. She helped me learned to go easy on myself while also understanding two things could happen at once. I look forward to therapy every week. If you are thinking to start therapy I recommend starting with Melanated healing.
