The location is very secluded. Each cottage is hidden from the others. Cottage was very well equipped. We appreciated the welcome basket in the fridge with plenty of goodies for our first breakfast. The hot tub on the deck is a really nice touch and like everything else, was very clean. The pool was sparkling clean and very relaxing. If you are after seclusion and peace and quiet then this place is for you. You can stroll to the beach (it is not patrolled) play tennis or go for a swim in the pool or relax in the spa. It's just a small trip to Taree or Old Bar or Manning Point if you want something to do. Highly recommend.
Arriving at Melaleuca Seaside Retreat was a remarkable experience. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, and their personal touches and attention to detail enhanced our stay significantly. The cabins were spotless and provided everything we needed for a wonderful getaway. Our horse felt like he was at home. It was the perfect escape, nestled in nature and surrounded by beautiful beaches. Thank you so much! We will be back!

We enjoyed the most magical stay in the Paperbark Cottage for our family of four including toddler and 6-month old. The cottage was stylish and thoughtfully laid out, plus bonus points for the screened veranda, which meant we could enjoy the lovely breeze minus the mozzies and creepy crawlies.
