I’ve been coming to Mel K African Hair Braiding for a few years now, and I’m always very happy with my hair. She’s fast, and her braids are very neat.
I Was Looking For a Braid Shop On a Whim & Ran Across Mel K African Braiding Salon I Called & Mel Answered She Was Very Polite, She Have Me a 3pm Appointment I Got There Early & She Was There On Time I Showed a Pic Of What I Wanted I Got The Stitched Goddess Braids With The Curly Hair She Did It Exactly How I Wanted She Wasn't Overly Heavy Handed The Braids Were Done Nice & Neat. She hasn’t disappointed me yet. The quality is very good. She responds as quickly as she can to requests. For individual braids, I was in and out in under 5 hrs and they look great! Not heavy handed at the root ❤️❤️ I’ll be back again
I contacted Mel yesterday, after hours about booking an appointment and not only did she respond, but also swiftly scheduled me conveniently in the morning (today). I have a lot of hair and she handled me with ease & grace. The shop is spacious & clean and works with such careful efficiency that the longest part of my braiding was me thanking her afterward!
