Our house is fairly large with just over 5000 square feet of roof area. The original roof was composition shingles. Mel Harris Roofing removed all the original roofing down to the bare wood decking. Then they laid down a synthetic underlayment that meets several U.S. and international building standards followed by the installation of 26 gauge steel standing seam roofing panels (16 inch width & custom cut lengths to fit the roof).
