In the last couple months, this Meineke place has actually become their own company. They are now "Car Care Central" and are still terrible. I thought you couldn't mess up an oil change, but apparently (for the past 3 years) they haven't been checking everything. Another mechanic found the reason why my check engine light keeps coming on, and these guys should've caught it before since it was in the oil tank! Not to mention, they ripped me off when my A/C broke and did a recharge before realizing that that's not the problem ... read more
I had repairs carried out to my Air Conditioner of my Town & Country Van at the East Serene branch of Meineke in Las Vegas and the repairs were stated to have a life long warranty, they gave me a warranty document. The repair did not last longer that a week before the repair to the air conditioner failed. As I live in Utah, when I called Las Vegas Meineke, they said, oh you have a worldwide warranty, you can take the van to any Meineke and they will fix the problem under the warranty we gave you. AVOID MENIKE! got my oil changed and they didn't change the oil filter.
I called to ask about oil change prices and the guy said they would not honor a coupon for a $19.95 oil change because they were losing too much money and then he hung up on me! Super rude- don't support their business!
These guys are great. I have been coming to them for the past 3 years and I have been super pleased with their work. As a student, I am always just looking for the cheapest deal. However, every time I have strayed away from these guys, I end up paying more and I end up having problems. They are very fair and are very straight. They have always told me things that need to be fixed right away, may need to be fixed in the future, and things that I shouldn't worry about. They don't try to sell me on stuff I don't need either.
