I requested a refill of my ADHD medication on 7/16 (when I had enough medication for 5 days). The pharmacy needed some authorization from my prescriber, which my prescriber says he sent same day as the request. When I called the pharmacy on 7/21, I was told that my prescriber was the problem and that they had reached out to him several times and had not heard back - obviously a lie. I’ve been going here for a few years but it’s been getting more and more unreliable. They got rid of the app which makes the online portal very clunky now. I ordered two prescriptions that said they’d be ready Wednesday at 2pm. I got two separate text messages saying they were ready. I verified through the portal that both said ready. I pull up Wednesday at 4 and they tell me one isn’t ready and I have to come back.

Unprofessional and never accountable...Today was no different than the average visit to Meijer Pharmacy. Over the phone, I was told one thing, and upon arrival it was a different story. Instead of taking accountability for the error, I had to pay roughly $50 and take the hit for Meijer. Meijer is far more capable of absorbing this expense (obviously) but they knew that I was reliant upon this medication and as a result, I was charged. Went to pick up order 2 full days after calling in, was told order would be ready for pick up. When I got there, was told it would not be ready until the next day. Felt they could have texted, emailed, or called to let me know they were not able to fill order.
