I went to this meijer optical because I usually go one place for my eye exam and then here for my glasses purchase. First the review for the eye exam. The doctor asked me to go to the sink and take out my contacts, it was a disgusting dirty sink. The doctor was OK. Next onto the purchasing of my glasses, the woman that was helping me did not bring me to what she thought would look good on me, she just had me look around and then just agreed with my selection, that’s not very helpful to me. We brought in a script and the staff has been absolutely amazing. First glasses experience. They were patient and have gone out of their way to make sure the frames were fitted to child’s face perfectly. They even re-adjusted 5 months into the school year with no additional costs. We had a problem with faulty frames and the replaced them with no hassle.
I'll presume the lack of customer service skill stems from the top?...Seems my contact lens prescription is under lock & key and the key is wrapped around the Doctor's neck where staff can't seem to get to it. Steer clear of this place unless you like to waste your time on phone calls and visits to no avail. Unfortunately, I am forced to add A star.
Received an exam and purchased glasses here. While I did have an issue with one lens due to an error by the lab the staff got me an appointment the next day to take a look and the doctor showed his experience, professionalism and great customer service
