RecommendedLOVE THIS STORE! My husband and I have been waiting for it to open and we couldn't be happier! They have great prices and fresh produce. Haven't been to another store since they opened!

Overall great store but what’s up with this strip of plastic in the middle of my beef?
I prefer the one in Merrillville as far as selection, was hoping Valparaiso would be big like that one, but I prefer Valparaiso store over Portage.
LOVE it! Love Meijer! The staff is friendly, well-stocked store. Prices are quite reasonable. I wish they'd stock the few things I have to go to Walmart for so I could sever ties with Walmart permanently.
Over priced and they don't have a Maternity section at least Walmart carrys maternity underwear and bras!
