Dr. Meier has been managing my meds for some 10 years now and has been such an amazing source of successful guidance in this arena. As a person with adult onset epilepsy, it is extremely important to combine meds to mediate the vast array of symptoms that come with this condition, including depression, anxiety, fatigue, etc., with much caution so as not to trigger seizures. He has been a wealth of knowledge for me just in helping me navigate life...and I absolutely adore him!
Dr Meier is an icon in the world of Christian Psychiatry. He is as smart as can be, he is caring and made himself and the staff available. My time there was one of the greatest experiences in my life
I guess you have to be a special kind of screwed up to receive treatment here. I went through the process twice to get help and was turned away both times. I felt like a square peg trying to fit through a specific (undisclosed) sized round hole just to get into the door. Whatever you do, don’t ever mention ADHD, especially if you have other issues you need help with. Seriously, WTH?!?!
I’m so disappointed in this DR. I remember the great work the Menrith/Meier clinic used to do so I waited months to get my son In to see Dr Paul Meier. It has been a roller coaster over this whole year. He tries all different meds on him but never really follows up on him. He is not compassionate at all but is sold out to the pharmacy! He is not what I thought he would be & my son is worse! Do NOT waste your money on this DR! So sad and disappointed
Please don't go see this MD. I have been an RN for 16 years and would never recommend him. He needs to retire. He is condescending, lacks compassion, is combative, and his thought process is off. At my last (and final appt) he told me if I did not take Prozac for my depression, he would no longer see me. In all my years of nursing, I've never seen an MD take a patient's right away on whether they want to take a medicine or not. I stopped due to a documented weight gain. He also called me liar.
He over prescribes and over diagnosis. He is quick to increase a dosage and not consider other options.
