I would never want anyone else to go digging around in my brain. Dr Wong was THE most compassionate and caring doctor I came across while experiencing a pituitary tumor. While surgery is always very scary, I did not have a doubt in my mind about her. I was never even slightly concerned about her skills or her ability to do the correct thing. Dr. Wong and her team exemplifies the epitome in patient care! She’s unbelievable, she diagnosed my condition and got me into surgery immediately, literally save my life. She took the time to explain what she wanted to do and then she sought me out late in the evening to review my post-op. Although she is so busy, she made me and my family feel like we were here only patient! We absolutely love this beautiful lady.
She’s nice and she is professional and she also seems very knowledgeable. The reason for the low rating is that she is not very accommodating. She would not allow for a tele health visit even to give test results when elderly client is coming from a great distance and has lack of transportation. I found this to be lacking compassion. I know other doctors in the LVHN network allow video visits in times of need or far distance as a courtesy from time to time. Dr Wong is hands down top 2 doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only does she listen, not rush you, but she also makes you feel human and has so much compassion for her patients. I met her when I found out I had a large brain tumor that required quick interventional surgery, and she walked me through every step of the process and answered all of my additional questions.
