He was supposed to have given me a gastric bypass. Instead I got an esophago-jejunostomy with a 200+cm roux limb that immediately herniated into my chest, and was sent home with a leak. I have been in pain ever since. In my opinion the folks who got stranded by his leaving St. Peter's before their surgery dodged a bullet.
He suddenly left St. Peter's Hospital a few weeks ago, without notice to his patients. I've been seeing Dr. Trivedi for months, in preparation for Bariatric surgery. I called his office to make an appointment and was informed that he'd left the practice. He left hundreds of his patients in limbo.
Dr. Trivedi completed my Sleeve surgery as well as my excess skin removal. Both surgeries he was very thorough of his expectations of what was required pre and post surgery to have the best results. Tyler his PA in the office is also fantastic!
Dr. Trivedi has been great and his office staff amazing! Dr. Trivedi may not have much of a bedside manner but when it comes to amazing surgeon/bedside manner, I’ll take amazing surgeon any day! Tyler his PA, is just as awesome but makes up in personality where Dr lacks! LOL...I recently had a small complication and was back in the hospital. He was on vacation but was on the phone constantly and saw me in the hospital every day. I ind him to be a very dedicated Dr who I highly recommend!
Great surgeon and office staff....you can't blame medical professionals for anatomical deformities and snow storms...grow up....
I have recommended 5+ family / friends and will continue recommending. I would choose Dr. Trivedi and this process again in a second. Best decision I ever made!
Only saw him in office once prior to surgery.. Once in the hospital, he never checked in on me at all - even though I had a complication! Only saw his PA, who is awesome, by the way. I would follow his PA for treatment. He is as qualified as any doctor I've seen - and has a wonderful bedside manner...compared to 'none ' for Dr. Trevidi since he never came near me in my hospital bed during a 3 day stay.
Everyone is great besides Belinda! She is rude and treated me like dirt whenever I called actually hanging up on me. I really do not know how she is allowed to treat good paying patients that way. If you hate your job that much get a new one.
