Dr. Kumar right off the bat was diligent in testing me for potential diagnosis. She repeatedly ran tests to be sure and communicated with me throughout to make sure I knew next steps and things got pushed through speedily. Thanks to her expertise and determination, I just completed surgery this week to remove a tumor from my brain that, had she not been so on it with testing, would have gone under the radar for even more years, wrecking continued havoc on my body. Dr. Kumar has terrible bedside manor! I was a new patient. I came in and she was all frowns and acted as if she didn't even want to speak. Her tone and whole persona was very dry and a total turnoff. There was nothing welcoming about this visit. I left offended and disappointed. I refuse to pay expensive health care costs for this type of treatment.
I do not recommend. I came in with very specific changes to my 39 year old body and mental health that I thought could be hormone related. Dr Kumar was dismissive and made me feel like I was asking for “weight loss medication.” I never mentioned anything medically diagnostic except I thought my cortisol levels were high based on my symptoms. At a later appointment after no change she gruffly said “people just gain the weight back after using weight loss medication, I don’t prescribe it” as if that option was even on my radar... read more
Tried making an appointment as a new patient . I was told that just to speak with the scheduling department to make an appointment can take a week. This is a shame for anyone really needing to be seen or feeling sympathetic due to leveled being off . She said they were still verifying my insurance but she said the day before that she had to speak with them to make sure they took my insurance and confirmed they did .
