Dr. O’Brien misdiagnosed two skin issues I had. Early in the pandemic I experienced worsening skin bumps that I later learned were lichen planopilaris, an inflammatory condition. O'Brien incorrectly identified them as keratosis even though the bumps appeared in places, such as my torso, where keratosis does not usually occur. I had my first consult with Doctor O’Brien today. I was extremely impressed with the entire staff from the front desk, the nurse and Doctor O’Brien. The office itself is beautiful and Doctor O’Brien was extremely kind, smart, knowledgeable and helpful and got me on a great plan to help with my acne break outs. I left feeling excited about the progress my skin is going to make through Doctor O’Brien’s care. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a great dermatologist in the New York City area.
