She said 'I don't even know why you are here.' I had just explained to her that for years I've had pain and symptoms that had to do with hormones etc. After trying to get pregnant and to mostly just to figure out for 2 years what's is going on with my body and my hormones and why nothing helps. She didn't offer a plan, treatment or explain my lab results.
I have been seeing Dr. Temp for about 4 years and I am just at that point where I feel like I am not seen or heard. It always seems like a rushed appointment which she is only in with me maybe 10 minutes total. She does a fine job but fails to see me as a person, but just as a patient.
Her idea of treating infertility and recurrent miscarriage is to tell you to keep trying and there’s nothing wrong until after 3 then admits she doesn’t know and has no ideas. The only thing she seemed excited about doing for us were D&C’s
My doc referred me to her after a depo shot caused me to have non stop problems. She said I should get an ultrasound. I had just had one so she never even read my background. I told her I already had once she asked me what I was doing in her office. Very rude. Didn't even do an exam. Scheduled me for laparoscopy a week later and was more than happy to cut me open. She gave me no information on my diagnosis. The surgery report says i complained of weight gain. I never once said that.
I visited Dr. Temp after experiencing severe early menopause symptoms threatening my ability to function and have quality of life in every way. I was hanging by a thread with symptoms for weeks leading up to my first appt. My issues were dismissed as not menopausal, and I was referred to a provider I had previously seen who did not help. I was told my few-and-far-between periods showed I had "enough" estrogen. She stood up & walked out on me. I found relief elsewhere with estrogen therapy.
As a husband going to all my wife's doctor visits during her pregnancy, Dr Temp explains everything in depth. She makes us both feel very confident about the process.
Dr. Temp and her staff are great! I always feel comfortable at my appointments and get all of my questions answered. I would highly recommend Dr. Temp and Women's Specialty Care!
She is very thorough and friendly and remembers things about my life which makes me feel very comfortable.
Dr. Temp and her nurse, Sally, are very supportive in our infertility journey and are quick to answer my questions on Patient Portal. They are also supportive helping me come to terms with losing our baby by miscarriage.
