She’s wonderful! I’m an older patient and I found her to be very concerned and interested in my previous diagnoses. She also was very knowledgeable and very pleasant! I loved that she didn’t rush through my visit,took time and listened and answered my concerns.
I’ve been pursuing fertility treatment which Dr. DeJong encouraged me to do. Then when the time came for me to begin my IVF process she refused to sign my form so I could move forward with the process because I was literally 2 pounds over weight according to the BMI chart. I don’t recommend her and don’t appreciate her unwillingness to help patients seeking her help. If I could give negative stars to her I would.
Dr DeJong is am amazing physician
Called for an appointment and couldn’t get any for 2 months. Also called for refill in prescription and left message. No one ever called back. Had to call again. Very annoying. Will be changing to Silver Cross dr
Initially I was very satisfied with Dr. Megan. I read her introduction in the Palos Hospital Newsletter. She claimed the she wanted to nurture and treat women from young to post menopausal years. Well, more recent visits I have felt that she is not as interested in post menopausal medical issues and women that have them as she is interested in young women and pregnant woman. I would like her to read her introduction article again and her D.O. Oath and nurture more.
I Looooooove Dr. Dejong. I'm never waiting, she comes in quickly, always has a bubbly attitude and just makes me overall comfortable with her. So glad I chose her as an OBGYN. I recommend her to everyone!
To start, my appointments are consistently canceled, or I have been told the incorrect appointment times, knowing this was a desk issue and not a problem with Dr. Dejong herself, I decided to stick with her for my most recent visit. Unfortunately, to top it off, during my visit Dr. Dejong was extremely rude and condescending and made me extremely uncomfortable. I couldn't wait to get out of the office and find myself a different doctor!
My 1st OB left her practice. I'm extremely grateful I found Dr. Dejong! She was so nice and friendly. She has a conversation with you and makes the experience pleasant which puts me at ease. She's very informative and cares for her patients. Extremely professional and great staff too!
Dr Dejong is very nice, friendly, pleasant, and always answers all of your questions. Doesn't leave the room until she asks Do you have any questions. And I love that about her. Yes the wait is long, but it's like that at every doctors office. At my old obgyn's office I would wait at least 1.5hours, so the half hour to 45 min isnt that bad. The staff is also wonderful!
