Seeing Dr. Belcher takes an act of congress. I tried to make an appointment with Dr. Belcher, but she did not have a sick appointment for several days. I previously saw Dr. Paxson in the same office and was able to make an appointment online through MyChart with Dr. Paxson today. 25 minutes prior to my appointment, I was called by the office to let me know that Dr. Paxson could not see me, as she was not my primary care doctor. Dr. Belcher has a lot to learn about bedside manner. Hopefully she will learn to listen to her patients and be more empathetic. I found another primary care doc that is wonderful and really cares about guiding me.

She is a good diagnostician but her bedside manner although sometimes warm, at other times can be shockingly awful. She is very out of touch with certain areas that she will either make very inappropriate recommendations or will deny treatment altogether. I keep her on my list of family doctors only as a last minute backup because I painstakingly avoid visiting her or her practice.

VERY JUDGEMENTAL, NOT PROFESSIONAL BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE ANXIETY, DR. BELCHER WILL TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE NOT NORMAL, IF YOU USE A DISINFECTANT WIPE TO SANITIZE, SHE WILL TELL YOU THAT IS NOT NORMAL. WITH THAT BEING SAID, SHE MUST NOT BE TOO NORMAL AS A PHYSICIAN BECAUSE THEY USE THESE PRODUCTS EVERYDAY WHILE CARING FOR PATIENTS. SHE MUST NOT BE THAT TYPICAL CLEAN DOCTOR!!! I made a same day appointment with Dr. Megan Belcher almost a month ago. They had me see a colleague of hers, Kathy, Armstrong, I believe. While I was there, I asked for a referral for an endocrinologist. She said that it would not be a problem and that I would be contacted. I waited 2 weeks. I then called them and asked for the status of the referral. I was told that the request to be contacted with the referral information would be given. 3 days later, today, I received a phone call stating that referrals aren't allowed on... read more

Dr. Belcher has been my doctor for around 6 or 7 years now. In my 70+ years, I have had, and FIRED, dozens of doctors. She is, by far, the best Doctor I have ever had! She's so good, that my Better Half fired HER doctor of 10 years and has switched to Dr. Belcher! She's also the nicest Doctor I have ever had; she's like part of the family! We LOVE this Doctor!!!

I do NOT recommend Dr. Belcher. She saw my minor daughter and administered a psychological interview in my absence and without my permission. She also tried to bully me. I then discovered she is an osteopath, not an MD. Further, her office was unresponsive when I tried to have them update my daughter’s vaccination record last year. The last straw was their refusal to allow me to move my daughter to another doctor in the same practice. Avoid this office at all costs! 

Meddling doctor

Dr. Belcher les me to believe she needed to ask my daughter a few private questions, which I assumed to be related to her physical health. She then gave my underage teenager an intrusive psychological interview, not allowing me to be present. I would not go back to her, nor would I recommend her.
