At every slab warehouse, we were told, "Don't use Marble in the kitchen, it is too soft and porous" but Gus a third generation Greek Marble quary owner and geologist explained that there are many types of Marble and many hardness levels depending on the minerals, like many natural stone there are quality and hardness variations. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality marble. I went to a dozen places across Atlanta but none of them compare to the selection and expertise of marble found here. Socrates educated me on the different types of marbles, including origin, porosity, durability, and helped me find a beautiful and unique marble that fit our family’s needs. We installed in our kitchen a few weeks ago and it’s absolutely beautiful and seems extremely durable so far. So glad we found Mega Marble!
