Great place to begin your fight against Parkinson's and maintenance
There's no one quite as motivating as Megan! I worked at a gym for a year and a half and barely got myself to work out. That is, until Megan dragged me into one of her boxing classes, from that point on I was hooked. She is able to personalize a workout for you even in a group of people, with alternative exercises that work for you. It's impossible to leave one of her classes in a bad mood. You'll leave feeling sore, but in the best way possible!
The workout is intense, the studio is well-appointed, the equipment is in great shape, the parking is easy, and Megan is excellent at what she does. Do yourself a favor and come to a class here -- boxing at 7am on Tuesdays and Thursdays (7pm on Wednesdays). They also have free rental gloves (including in large/small sizes) which is great if you're on the fence about getting into boxing and don't want to have to buy a lot of gear. Show up in workout clothes and Megan will take care of you.
I’ve been working out with Megan since 2012 and have followed her journey the entire time. I have really bad scoliosis and Megan significantly helped improve my posture and my fitness capabilities that I was never able to do. Megan goes above and beyond for her clientele and provides workouts for all skill sets. Her studio is the most inviting workout environment I have ever encountered and everyone who goes there are super friendly and inviting. I highly recommend everyone give this studio a shot!
