I first liked Dr. Karges when she didn't rush me on my appointment for abdominal surgery. She spent time with me, answered all my questions, explained the procedure thoroughly, and recommended future health practices. The surgery went well, followup was thorough, and I highly recommend her. Very professional - and friendly.
I recently had surgery by Dr. Karges and she is excellent. Has a great bedside manner, explained everything thoroughly and shows she cares. The surgery came out great, no complications. I highly recommend her for anyone that needs surgery. I can't say enough good things about her. The surgical staff was also great, they were kind and caring and looked out for us. I was born and raised in Rochester MN with the Mayo Clinic in my back yard so I was very nervous about having surgery in Sierra Vista. I have had TWO surgeries with Dr. Karges in the past year and I am so comfortable with her. I had excellent results with both surgeries, and she made me feel like I was her only patient at each visit. She was very careful to hide the scars as much as possible. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Karges as a general surgeon!

I was recently referred to Dr. Karges for surgery. I her to be extremely professional and personable. She thoroughly explained the options, risks, and recovery prior to the surgery and during the follow up appointments. From my perspective, the surgery went very smoothly and the recovery was fast. I could not have asked for better care from Dr. Karges and the Canyon Vista surgical staff. While I hope to not see her again, I would absolutely trust her if ever I need another surgery.
I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. After a lot of research on where to have the surgery performed, I choose to have it locally in Sierra Vista AZ. I met with Dr. Karges and she explained everything about my diagnosis and how the procedure would be performed. She was caring and concerned about my well-being along with always being considerate and thoughtful. She has a good bed-side manner putting you at ease. Dr. Karges is an excellent surgeon.
I recently had emergency surgery. Hearing different people express different opinions of healthcare in the area, I was nervous when my option became need of a procedure done not long after arriving in the ER. Dr. Karges was the oncall surgeon. We (husband & I) could not be more pleased! Dr. Karges explained everything in detail, asking as she explained if we needed more explanation. My recovery was exceptional! I am so thankful that we didn't end up going out of town! THANK YOU DR KARGIS!!
