About this business
A member of my family has worked in a jewelry store, in downtown Florence, since 1911. My grandparents, Pete and Julia Mefford, opened our first store on Seminary street in 1945. The business moved to 111 East Tennessee street and in 1980 my father, O. T. Mefford, moved us into our current location at 102 North Court Street. My experience at Mefford’s was awesome from beginning to the end. Todd was really helpful with my decision because I was wanting to design an engagement ring for the love of my life! Everyone there was great! Lydia helped as well. Also Russell Mefford who did the setting, did an amazing job! It was a pleasure doing business there and I am so grateful I did!
I absolutely recommend stepping inside this family run shop. I was visiting the area and decided to stop in to see what they had to offer. Custom knives, jewelry, and jewelry services. Lovely store! Happened to be in the area and decided to take a peek. Beautiful jewelry at all price points & extremely friendly, knowledgeable staff who hit the perfect mix of helping out but giving you space to look around.
