Please don't rent here under the current management (UDR Inc)!!! I left in July 2026, but I assume it's still the same people in charge. They'll try to put unexpected fees on your account. When I was moving out, they tried very hard to not give me my full deposit back. Meetinghouse has been amazing and continues to get better. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the office and maintenance staff. It’s close to so many amazing places here in Sellwood and really promotes the sense of community I was looking for when I moved to Portland.
I was excited to lease at Meetinghouse, but my experience with the application process was extremely disappointing. TLDR: I was pressured to sign a lease within 48 hours of application approval despite unresolved questions, including a pending reasonable accommodation request under the Fair Housing Act. My $100 holding deposit was retained after I declined to sign a lease with disputed terms that didn't accurately reflect proper ESA accomodation. I am a new resident at the Meetinghouse, and I cannot say enough about their personal human touch and follow-through. ELAINE is fantastic. She is patient, kind, and thorough. I never thought I was just another unit that they filled. Elaine expressed a sincere and warm welcome when I chose Meetinghouse to begin this new phase of my life.
