In 2024 there was an anomaly in my regular blood test. Dr. Vijay had scheduled me to meet a Hematology/Oncologist on a Friday at St. Francis. She called me that Monday (we were in Oklahoma visiting my wife's family). She asked, when are you coming home? I said tomorrow, we'll be home Tuesday evening. My mom is 89, her doctor retired a few years and she was matched with Dr Vijay and to say it has been a miserable experience is an understatement. Foremost, getting prescription refills is a true hassle. It takes days to weeks, multiple calls. When my mom needed her inhaler refilled, we were told she needed to go to the doctor who prescribed the inhaler…the doctor who was now retired. She was without one for MONTHS and the situation was only corrected when she went to the hospital for a broken arm; she got a new prescription... read more
Hands down the rudest dr i have ever been too. I have never left an office in tears before. Very dismissive. Could care less about her patients. If i could give 0 stars i would. I do not recommend her to anyone.
Without a doubt, the worst doctor I have ever met. My mom’s doctor retired and she was transferred to Dr. VJ. My mom is 89 and it was very clear early on there would be issues. Dr VJ was short, dismissive, and spoke more to me during appointments than mom. The worst part is trying to get prescriptions. My mom uses an inhaler and was unable to get her Rx refilled for 5 months. We kept calling, we asked in person during appointments, and no one called in her inhaler.
