I have rented from Meer and Company for the past 3 and a half years. Everything was ok, hiccups here abd there with their servicing. In March 2017, I requested assistance with a leak in main bathroom. It took them 5 months to send someone out to repair. I had to send a warranty of habitability, which there was no response to. Come to find out that the owner of the property was selling the unit and we had to move out, so they used manipulation and ignore tactics to get my family out sooner. Meer & Co were great to rent from. Bill Martin in particular was friendly and knowledgeable, and I really appreciated how they were able to help us out. We joined the Peace Corps and did not know when we would be leaving, and they talked to the owner and got us extended on a month to month basis for up to 3 months (we only needed 1) at the same rental rate. I would recommend this rental company to anyone looking for a property to rent in locations where they rent property.
Terrible company! They don't even deserve one star. Completely unreliable and rude, rude, rude service. Charge you up the wall for tenant change when signing a completely new lease at the END of your previous lease. Understandable if there was only an application fee, or if it was a tenant change in the middle of a lease, but not when signing a new lease! If I could I would move asap, but whenever that day comes, I will never rent from this company again!
Terrible company! They don't even deserve one star. Completely unreliable service and rude, rude, rude people. New charges thrown at you and you're expected to pay asap, with no questions asked. House work orders sent in, never answered. House could be in such better shape if they cared to do even minor work! If I could, I would move asap! And as soon as I do, I'll make sure to never rent from this company again.
