Excellent fresh spring rolls Easy to miss, but worth trying, Meechai has very good curries and excellent fresh spring rolls. The decor is nice and the staff is friendly. It is not too expensive and is a nice place to have lunch or dinner.
Small restaurant, but good food When I lived in the area, I frequented Meechai Thai. It's a small restaurant, but they have really great Thai food. The curry, noodle and rice dishes are all very good. And of course, you have to have a thai iced tea!
I've been to quite a few local Thai restaurants and this place ROCKS! Excellent, authentic Thai cuisine, attentive and friendly service and reasonable prices. Try the garden spring rolls with peanut sauce...you won't be disappointed! I'm also partial to the pineapple fried rice with chicken, but it's all yummy.
They have the most authentic Thai in San Diego, it's also priced great!
meechai thai hits the spot for sure Wow! Amazing food! I can't say I've ever dined in though. Every time i go I get take-out. The yellow curry is a favorite and definitley recommended to all. It's not expensive. One curry is anywhere between 10 and $15, and it feeds two. Also, try the thai toast. You'll be addicted!
