I rushed my senior yorkie to MedVet Norwalk on 3-8-26 after he suddenly collapsed. We waited 6 hours to have the Emergency Vet inform us that he was severely anemic and they detected a heart murmur. His red blood cell count should be 35. Our boy was at a critical 9! We had no idea what this meant. She advised us to make an appointment with the inhouse Internist immediately for further testing. MedVet saved my dogs life. The team worked tirelessly for 7 days on a close to hopeless case. The specialists are the best, the staff is always patient, kind and competent. Both the pet and the owner have 24/7 access and attention. My dog is now close to completely cured. It was expensive but the truth is that in the veterinary world you get what you pay for and for me, it was worth it. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate everything about this place and they will have my eternal gratitude.
