To all pet owners: Be aware of the real care your pet receives. My dog had surgery at MedVet in Worthington, Columbus. Eight days after the surgery, some stitches came loose and he started bleeding. I called MedVet several times to get information about what to do. I sent several pictures. When I finally talked to a surgical person, I was told he had been licking the incision and it was infected. She said she would call in a prescription for antibiotics and cream. No start whatsoever! I don’t think we could have had a worse experience, considering that she didn’t perform any surgery on our pet. River is a pomskey who needed surgery on both eyes. On the day of surgery she called saying her retinas are detaching and he will get blind anyways because “no one” can perform a surgery for retina on huskies! And she won’t do the surgery and there might be 2 places in US where they can do this surgery. After a quick search we found an eye institute in Cincinnati that does this surgery on husk... read more
