First and last visit. I have been to many veterinary specialists and emergency vet hospitals over the years and I have never been as frustrated with a place as much as this one. I think their main focus is the money -- we had to pay a $2500 "retainer" up front and finally had to go rescue our kitty the next day as there seemed to be no end in site as to how long they were going to keep her. STAY AWAY! MONEY VULTURES FIRST, ANIMAL CARE LAST!! I took my puppy in who had aspirated a piece of dog food late at night, as the other 24 hour emergency vet we normally use was closed due to a doctor shortage. I had never been to MedVet, so I didn't know who they were and didn't think to check their reviews first. For a minor injury they wanted to keep her for 3-4 days at a cost of $5000!
