I simply won't go anywhere else to buy my gear! Literally the same prices as on Amazon and always in stock with what I need. I love having this shop right here in Austin and my out-of-town friends love the online ordering system and super-quick shipping. Super knowledgable staff are the icing on the cake - I can ask any question and get expert advice and know that I'm buying the right gear every time. Perfect store to shop local and support skater-owned business!
Bought a pair of skates from their website at a discounted rate to only get a call telling me their website was wrong and they could complete the order. I was offered a less quality boot in its place for the same price. You don't call an offer a customer a less quality product than what they ordered for the same money and offer a comparable product for more money due to your error. Crazy to think these kinds of business owners are out there. Poor…Poor Poor customer service.
Even from the first moment I stepped into Medusa way back in January all the ladies have been nothing but helpful. They are knowledgeable about all things derby, and can customize whatever your purchases are to reflect whether you play flat track, banked, recreational, park/outdoor skating, and even juniors derby. I am super thankful for all the Medusa ladies (and Dexter)!!! Fair prices, shop local, and derby love :)

These ladies know more about skates than anyone in the biz, this isnt just how they make their dollar, this is their life. Its a shop of gear heads ready and willing to educate you above all else. I've never had anything but a great experience here as a local.
