No one wants to be in the hospital but if you end up in one this is the best place to be! I was treated with kindness, patience and support from every single employee that I encountered from the moment that I walked in the door. From reception to the nurses to maintenance and transport, every single individual went above and beyond to put me at ease. I met with my second surgeon, Dr. Lemma, after having had a great experience meeting with Dr. Dorai. Mind you I don’t want a surgery and Dr. Lemma explained clearly that I need the surgery to stop the lack of fluid moving through C7-T1 of my spine. It was distressing to hear, but Dr. Lemma was so professional and compassionate that I could take it in. It’s important with any surgery to trust your surgeon.
