My Auntie was in this hospital for three days, and NO ONE changed her sheets, nor did they put her on a hospital gown. She is wearing the same clothes she came in. I'm so disappointed because it seems to be the theme in the black community. The nurse's attitudes suck! They are truly here for a paycheck, not for patient care. Management is bad because they should be doing something about it.
I have been coming to Medstar Southern Maryland Hospital for seven years, where I originally started seeing Dr. Rubenstein for chemotherapy to fight breast cancer. He was absolutely awesome and made me feel so comfortable. He listened to me as an individual patient and treated me as such. I now see Dr. Madan, who has taken over the practice. My experience with MedStar Maryland Hospital Center was very good. From the time I registered to the time of departure, I was transported, because of my disability to walk without my transport chair. The staff at the hospital showed concern and accommodation in every way.
