If you have a choice, NEVER be admitted to the behavioral unit!! Staff will keep you there as long as possible to maximize profit while giving little to no therapy or treatment. Some of the techs are rude, nonapproachable, and will act like asking for a basic commodity is impossible. Not to mention, staff communication here is very poor. For three days, I was denied access to my hormonal birth control because they "needed approval from the doctor" and "would hear from her soon."
