My sister presented to the Emergency Department on February 16, 2026, with acute abdominal pain. The ambulance arrived at Medstar right before 2:00 p.m., with my mother driving behind. My sister was in the ED screaming and writhing in pain. Her words were, “Help me, I am going to die,” as she cried out in the hallway. Medstar Orthopedic in Olney is the worse place I have been. They started out with a great doctor but now he is not there. I saw a Dr. Mitchell who is an idiot and the type of person you wonder why they wasted the time to go to school. This Dr is not even qualified to do the surgery I need. What a freaking waste of time. If I could afford to go else where I would and it does not seem to bother Medstar if I did go elsewhere

Absolute worst hospital I've ever been in The staff does not communicate with each other they are pretty much useless was put in a room where stuff does not work could not call the nurses was then moved to a dirty room They just want to keep you there as long as possible so they can try to bleed your insurance dry They don't really care about the patients it's all about the money Out of everyone there I've only seen one gentleman a RN hes the only one who busts his butt constantly on the 1st floor that I've seen and there wa... read more
