I went to MedStar Health Urgent Care not feeling my best—unsure if I had the flu, COVID, a cold, or something else—but from the moment I walked in, the service was excellent. The staff was professional, efficient, and welcoming. The PA who saw me was incredibly kind, patient, and empathetic—exactly what you need when you’re feeling awful and a bit anxious. I was a walk in. Had to wait between 1/2 hour and 45 minutes. The doctor was personable and nice, and very thorough.

I injured my eye and thought I would have to sit for hours to be seen however we showed up early evening was greeted by a wonderful young man at the front desk and triage and seen by the nurse practitioner. Everyone at this location was professional and kind. I was amazed of how quick I was triage and treated and back home again
Did have to wait about 1 hour from the time of my appointment to be seen, but it was a Sunday and I believe only 1 doctor was working. Everyone from the front desk to the person who took my vitals to the doctor I saw was VERY NICE. Dr. Cope even called me after I left to check up on me and make sure I had his number in case I have any ongoing trouble. Even with the wait, the best urgent care experience I’ve ever had.
