MedStar Health is The best at Adams Morgan from the nurses to the doctors. They treat ever one great that comes in there they care a great deal about people. they do all they came for others if I ever need them that's the place to be. I really like to thank them, and now I really want to Thank Medical Assistant DemeTrices , Radiology Technologist Cathy and Medical Provider Amevia Mvrdock PA-C are the best and they are so sweet. I am the insurance rep from United Health Care and I had one of the best experiences with the prior auth/referral coordinator, Kate, who was sooo delightful, sweet, and professional. The process to get a prior authorization was a long process and she was so patient and understanding and did not complain and kept a positive attitude the whole time we were trying to get this information for the member so that she can have all of the information she needed for the prior authorization. I have always raved about Seth’s front desk and the 2 sweet hearts in the lab room. Today I am writing about Jessica C. I have a special needs niece i took on when my sister her mother died and this office has been nothing but accommodating to her needs & always on top of the many tasks i ask them to help me with concerning her like getting records sent back and forth to dr’s and Miss Jessica C at the front desk was very diligent to make sure as soon as my paperwork was filled out that the fax went thru. Medstar has done much to improve attitudes of employees but today's isit to give blood was a disaster. The woman behind the desk at 10 AM was abswhenever possibled,olutely rude not only to my wife and me but to several other people waiting to be served. She was equally abusie to black and white patients and when two of them asked for her name she refused to give it. Medstar's personnel efforts in this office are all talk and no action, We will henceforth avoid Georgetown hospital wheneer possible,
Appalling experience. I showed up on time for an appt made more than 2 weeks ago for consultation on my knee after a fall. THE DOCTOR WAS NOT THERE AND WAS NOT COMING IN. NO ONE CALLED TO ALERT ME. I had waited TWO WEEKS & now I have to find another doctor and try to reschedule, when appts are impossible to get this time of year. So I have to live with the pain for who knows how much longer. Horrible doctor!!! Doesn’t believe in prescribing meds!!!!!!! Only does expensive injections that did no for my chronic pain!!! Very judgmental and Rude!!!!!!!!!
The physical therapists at Medstar Brandywine are fantastic in knowledge of the body and administration of exercises. I looked forward to every session because I left with improved knee function and ability to walk, balance, etc. Their pleasantness and positive attitudes were passed on to the patients. The whole experience was a therapeutic success. They are the best!
Do not go to this hospital if you are queer. There are nurses on staff who will mistreat you if you do. I went to the ER and my nurse put my IV and monitor on way too tight. I begged for hours for them to remove them and adjust it and when another nurse finally listened to me she was surprised at how terribly it was done in the first place.
I went to Medstar today for a preop examination. Apparently the paperwork was not there. The staff was amazing. They worked hard to resolve the issue to make sure that I could have the surgery I needed and the preop examination that was necessary. I cannot say enough kind things About the care and concern.That was shown to me during this visit.
