I am currently waiting in the ED at Harbor.... I've been here 3 hours of course, bloodwork, ekg, xray was done quickly, withing 45mins.... well that means nothing because Im still sitting here waiting. I informed young man at the desk I wanted to leave and the I'v port needs to be removed....he says when "she" comes back I'll let her know ...meanwhile I feel like Im being forced to stay because, im sure she can be called out. Excellent bed side manner from allof the staff in the ER. They were kind, informative, and patient.
People were friendly however went with severe abdominal pain, got my bloodwork which was off and not normal and an X-ray. They told me bloodwork is normal even though I have the portal and saw that it isn’t and sent me home with no pain management, further testing or help.
Just left here after waiting over 3 hours with my 3 year who is having abdominal pain was never seen by a provider I fully understand a wait time in a er. But for a child to not be evaluated once in over 3 hours is ridiculous
