I was recently treated for diabetic ketoacidosis at FSH and received top notch care from the triage to the ICU team to the doctors. A huge thank you to e everyone that took care of me. Very prompt & attentive care.
The emergency room is horribly disorganized and I pitty anyone unfortunate enough to have no other choice but to end up there. My pop is about to pass away at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. They’re giving him a couple hours. They were letting 2 people up at a time, that last for 2 hours. One of the staff members got mad because they thought 3 people were in the room. There was not 3 people. Now they’re only letting my mom, her sister, pops sister, and brother see him. I was scheduled for surgery. Hospital was changing entrances. called to verify and was given the wrong information. Arrive 15 minutes early told that someone would assist me. I was informed I was in the right location even though no one asked my name or why I was there. Another couple arrives after me me and is quickly assisted. I question the lady why she didn't assist me. she stated that I was in the right area and that's why she didn't ask me. 45 minutes before I was properly informed about the correct entrance. RecommendedWas a patient at Franklin Square August 20-24. I have never been treated so fairly at any other hospital. My nurses and Techs were a cut above. My surgeon and staff were the best. I want to personally thank my Nurses and Techs. I apologize if I have forgotten anyone but my first night was very difficult.
