We are the practice facility for the Washington Capitals. Our facility hours are generally 5:30am to 1am. The hours listed below are for our front desk. For our current store hours check our website. We offer all community skating activities - public skate, learn to skate, freestyle, learn to play hockey, youth hockey - at all levels, adult leagues, parties etc. check our website for dates and times of these activities.

You can rent a third of the rink and it's affordable during covid times for a private pod. At the Capitals' practice facility so sweet ice.
This is a nice place to come if your kids like to skate or play hockey.There is always classes going on but they also have a place we’re people can open skate The area is pretty clean and good parking
Best days to skate or solo practice is on weekdays, weekends are always packed. Always check their website for skate hours.

If you know how to skate faster than one can walk, skip the weekend open skate, because that's how fast you will skate. Way too crowded, need to do a better job limiting number of people admitted.
Open skate is crazy-crowded and the skate guards don't manage the flow very well. Probably better to look elsewhere (at least on busy weekends).
A great hub for DMV ice hockey and the Washington Capitals NHL team! Has a great selection of Capitals gear, and the Caps Cafe has been renovated! Definitely one of the best rinks in NOVA!
