I was in severe pain. Told them to take me to Memorial but they pushed St. Elizabeth's (I have had bad experiences with their ER and didn't want to go there)...I was in so much pain that I was just like, whatever. They told me they gave me a shot of Fentanyl for the pain, but I'm positive it must have been saline or something, because it didn't even TOUCH the pain. They were very rude to me on the way to the ER. Never using them again..would rather walk.
I can't believe the owners attitude to millstadt EMS. Incredibly unprofessional and gives no faith towards medstar as a company. Your priority should be to help PEOPLE, not petty business conflicts with a small town EMS team. Absolutely deplorable behavior.
Very rude & disrespectful
45 minute wait time! Extremely rude and unprofessional when they arrived, joked about staffing shortage impacting service, stretcher was broken, no assistance with wheelchairs transfer. Terrible terrible experience
Verry unprofessional. The two medics who showed up were so out of shape I didn't know if they would make it up my stairs. They would not take me to the hospital I wanted to go to(wich is 4 miles from my house) instead they drove me 8 miles to the one they wanted. The guy in the back miss diagnosed my problem and ignored the actual issue. If I had to make the choice of them or walking...well I'd walk.
