Stay away!!! There are some home health agencies that I would NOT recommend. Medquest happens to be one of these. Kaiser controls them. They depend on Kaiser for giving them 100% of their patients. If Kaiser doesn’t want a particular staff seeing one of their patients, then you won’t. Medquest has no regard for their staff whatsoever. They fail to give staff the supplies needed for wound care to actively treat their patients! Therefore have no regard for their patients either. This place is ABSOLUTELY THE WORST….. they were supposed to hug ave given my husband the maximum of physical and occupational therapy and they only gave him 2 sessions each. Maybe we are not the RIGHT COMPLEXION Kaiser really need to look into another company. To top it all the phone numbers don’t work. My husband arms are partially paralyzed and they don’t seem to care. Not professional. My Doctor wanted a wound culture. And I was told by medquest that they do not provide this service and to have a family member to it and take it to the lab.. I then emailed my Doctor to let her know this. And she was vivid for a family member is not trained on how to do this.. The Doctor called medquest and was informed the same thing. We have been using Medquest for almost a month now. They were contracted by Kaiser for wound care. Terrible experience so far. (1) Day 1 they committed to have wound care supplies sent to the house. NOTHING CAME. They use a standard response. "We will order them for you." (2) Erratic scheduling and they come late consistently. The nurse today called in and said she's coming in 15 minutes. An hour passed before she knocked the door. The nurse made a traffic excuse but her car has been parked in front of the house for 15 minut... read more
