I've been with this company for many years. The rates are very reasonable. Unfortunately in my opinion...some people in my profession are lazy and incompetent and now the rates have gone up a bit. I have never been sued so that's annoying that my rates went up because of other doctors that are lazy and/or incompetent. Or even scarier....there might be optometrists out there doing procedures that they should NOT be doing -- things for which they lack the proper training. Don't believe the hype! They will drop you the moment you get your first claim. They will pressure you into settling regardless of whether you have a consent-to-settle clause. And their panel of lawyers are not that good. Don't do it!
If Medpro contacts you in a manner presenting themselves as help for you, ignore them and get your own lawyer if you can.
