I really like dr Laurie she’s been incredibly helpful and attentive. The reason this isn’t a 5 star is because a doctors office not having an open line of communication is absolutely crazy. I’ve left several voice mails and never get any response, and the online booking system is 2 weeks in advance when I needed help urgently - ended up having to spend 7 hours at the urgent care instead…
This is a terrible clinic, unprofessional reception staff. The physician, who was accepting new patients, requires patients to have a minimum 5 years commitment to live in Kelowna. An official complaint would be filed about this clinic.
Edit September 8, 2025 The phone system now goes directly to voicemail when patients call. Don’t expect anyone to call you back because even if you leave a voicemail, it’s not returned. The Dr is good about letting me know through a portal that results were received but you can’t reach an admin person at all, ever. Not sure what the point of finally receiving a family doctor is when you can’t actually book an appointment. Absolutely impossible to get a doctor’s appointment with Dr.Laurie. Nobody answers the phones. No voicemails allowed. No online appointment booking. Absolutely brutal that this is the service we have to deal with. I have been phoning for 2 weeks now, literally repeat calling from opening until closing and not a single response.
