We stopped by Medium Foods behind Aero Club Bar one Friday around 4 p.m. for a quick bite before dinner and ended up being impressed. We ordered the Cuban sandwich, and it was great — crispy bread, flavorful pork, and the perfect balance of pickle, mustard, and mayo. I’m usually pretty picky about Cubans, but this one was good. It was a little messy—possibly user error on my boyfriend’s part! Great find for when you’re grabbing drinks and want something satisfying without a full sit-down meal.

Awesome food truck outside Aero bar. I had a Greek bowl with orzo, Greek salad, hummus, and pita. My husband got a pulled pork sandwich. Delicious food!
Medium is one of our favorite spots in San Diego. It's tucked behind the Aero Club on the back patio, with a relaxed, under-the-radar vibe. You grab a drink from the bar, settle in under the string lights, and get ready for some seriously good food.
