I have loved this place for many, many years! Sad will be the day when you shut your doors on the Strand.....
Oh my gosh, the food was fantastic!! Had kabob with grilled veggies and chicken pasta. We also had tomato basil soup appetizer. Yum. Yum. Yum! Will definitely return.
Most delicious place on the Strand! Their gyro meat and tzatziki are wonderful, portions and prices are great and their dessert.... One word: wow. Very friendly staff and consistently wonderful food. We are locals, live and work on the Strand, and Mediterranean Chef is one of our go-to's .
We went here for the first time Wednesday and the food, service, and atmosphere was absolutely wonderful. The waiter was very polite and informative about the ingredients of the food we ordered. Will definitely be going here every trip to Galveston!!
This is a very wonderful restaurant. They also have one in Nassau Bay. I used to hate hummus. I had only ever tried the store-bought kind. Then one day I had hummus made at the Mediterranean chef. Really good stuff. The tabbouleh could use a little more lemon juice and olive oil. But I'm used to the Arabic Style. Don't even get me started on their gyros..... Best stuff on the planet
This is amazing Greek good on strand been here 3 times delious everytime
One waitress. She told us the soda machine was broken, but offered soda to others as they came in. I had the chicken kabobs. Dry, with no taste. I also ordered the grilled vegtables, which were drenched in butter. The other orders were about the same. We were all disappointed; especially with the good reviews I read before going.
