I had a really disappointing experience at this office. I arrived for my scheduled appointment; meanwhile, someone from the adjacent gym came in after an injury, and I completely understand emergencies, but they were immediately taken in. After waiting an additional 20 minutes past my set appointment time, I had to ask the front desk about my appointment, and only then was I told that the emergencies pushed my slot back by a full hour. I have always had a good opinion of this clinic and have generally had good experiences here, usually seeing the nurse practitioner. Today, however, I went in as a walk-in because I wasn’t feeling well and was having slight chest pain when breathing. There were only two people in the waiting room, and it was around 3:50 PM. The wait time is almost always long. Everything else is nice, but I have sat around in the waiting room for nearly 45 mins on at least 4 occasions before I even get to a consultation room, and usually sit there and wait some more. The patient’s time are important too. I usually have to get back to work and make up for this lost time.
I’m not usually the kind of person who leaves reviews, but today I want to take the time above all to express my gratitude to Dr. Juan Zapata. I’ve suffered from migraines since I was 15 years old. Today, I arrived at his office in the middle of a severe migraine crisis. I couldn’t tolerate anything around me no light, no noise, no movement. Everything was unbearable.
