I worked for them several years ago at ACDC after the previous contractor lost their contract. It was a terrible transition. Their physicians were rude, disrespectful and would flat out tell us (the nurses) not to bother them. They wouldn’t acknowledge urgent matters. It got so bad people started leaving because they were afraid to lose their license. The inmates were begging for the old contractor back by the time I stepped away. Shame on these people.

The most unprofessional people I’ve ever met in the employment environment. They don’t a damn about their employees at all. I could post a whole story about the unprofessionalism of the HR Staff and the former HSA at RCJC. These people need to be addressed

The contract that this company has with Arlington county’s detention facility is crumbling. The leadership on site from Mediko conducted business like two high school adolescents. Promising certain nurses roles and then not following through. Then when a new nurse comes on the scene the other nurse felt inclined to literally argue and fight over different roles. A total waste of time working with the leadership at the Arlington county site.

If I could, I would disrespectfully give this company a zero. They are very unprofessional. I went through the whole process of completing drug screen, background check, and submitting job offer for them to then call me today and rescind the offer with no explanation. I am glad I did not put my two week notice. I literally talked to HR personnel: Robyn on 12/21/2021 and was asked about my start date. I told her that I still had to put in my two week with current job out of respect and then for them to disrespectfully do this... read more
