Have received eye exams at Medicus for many years and always had great results with honest evaluations. Dr. Wolken and staff treated me with respect and I’ve never had any problems. Very helpful.
I was extremely disappointed. I had to wait almost 5 weeks to get an appointment. I waited 40 minutes beyond my 15 min arrival. I was told she was running on time. I found out the reason was they had to wait for a room that could accommodate my wheel chair. I had a broken blood vessel and blurred vision but still had to wait weeks to get in. I saw the actual dr for maybe 5 minutes. Worse eye exam ever. They did not test for glaucoma nor did she comment on the magna degeneration I have, or even the remainder of a botched cata... read more
Dr Wolken is very knowledgeable and thorough. He explained my situation in detail and I understood. I appreciate his kindness when discussing my diagnosis. He is good at following through from my last appointment to my current one. I appreciate that sometimes he is funny and as you know, a little humor goes a long way. Also, I noticed an improvement in his staff as well. They were kind and helpful. All of these things are important to me as I’m getting older and may need more patience. Thank you Dr. Wokken.
